Coming back from the West
As I blog this, I'm sitting in my hotel room in Glasgow Montana, It's the Cottonwood Inn, If you're ever driving along Highway 2 in Montana heading east stop in and enjoy. Each room has high speed internet, just bring your RJ-45 cable and follow the instructions that are in the desk. Once you're connected, you are good to go.
By the way, the hotel does have a pool, hot tub and for those who have a perchance at gaming, a casino. Then again, practically every place has a casino. Oh yes, there's an RV park if you drive the big RV.
It was a good trip today, we left Edmonton at 7:00AM and arrived in Glasgow a little after 7:00PM.
While in Edmonton I visited my daugher Stephanie who showed us her new apartment just hung out. One place we went to, besides the West Edmonton Mall, I don't think you can visit Edmonton without a quick shopping spree to the Mall. We also spent a day at Jasper National Park. Let me say something, while Banff has more of the name and fame, I prefer Jasper more, it's a great park, fantastic vista and not as crowed or as commercial. Yes the township has grown and developed but its just not the same as Banff. So another free word of advice, head north to Jasper.
While there we did go hiking along the valley of five Lakes trail, which is just south of Jasper township. Stephanie took a picture of myself, my other daughter Katrina and her as we sat along the trail.
In total, a great time. I've got some more pictures, but they will have to wait until I get back home.
